Torno is a side table made of pine wood and red clay, designed to bring people together.
It moves away from technological purposes both in argument and design and take us back to a more intimate moment of communion with our friends and family. The design came from the observation of the past that teaches us that less is better, from the strong traditions of portuguese carpentry and pottery. 

"Torno" is the portuguese word that names both tools used by potters to create clay pieces with their hands and by carpenters to carve wooden parts.

The handmade red clay top can be used in different ways and can be moved to serve as a tray.
